Director Biography - Kermit Evans

This Short Film directed by Kermit Evans shows how hip hop saved the lives of six young men from West Dallas who formed a pop locking group called the Rockets back in the '80s and 90s. The Rocket was a professional dance group that launch several entertainers into public stardom, which included the D.O.C. and the Funky Fresh Crew formally known as the Fila Fresh Crew back in the late 80"s. “Hip Hop Saved My Life: The Rockets” is the director’s first short film.
