“High Five, Sister!”

"High Five, Sister!" is an ethnographic glimpse onto an eventful and happy day of two Manchester girls. When they join the Manchester Day parade together with their friends and family, their identity as 'girls with special needs' does not predominate. The film portrays the girls as firmly situated in their own lives and stresses the powerful message that being attentive and to care for each other must be a precondition for our common future.
