Director Statement

As an animator, I have always been captivated by how personal journeys of growth and change shape our identities. "Here and There" is a reflection of my own journey, and it serves as a universal space for those navigating the challenges of starting over and seeking belonging. Through the eyes of a young girl in a foreign land, I hope to evoke emotional resonance that offers comfort to anyone facing similar struggles. Even in the moments of isolation and uncertainty, you are never truly alone. It is a story of gradual adaptation, bravery, and the quiet strength that comes with embracing a new life, wherever it may lead.
