Her Father's Music
This short documentary film tells the remarkable story of Nina Baratoff, a Russian ballerina born a refugee in 1940s China. As a child, she danced to a piano piece her father composed just for her. Believed lost, its tattered pages were rediscovered decades later, sparking a journey of remembrance and renewal, as a team of musicians, choreographers, and dancers—including generations of her own family—bring the piece back to life. Through this rediscovered heirloom, "Her Father’s Music" celebrates art, legacy, and the unbreakable bond between generations.
