Hello...

It is about loneliness in a big city (Shanghai). The individual is a dot on a gigantic wall of other dots. Social media and certain ideas of masculinity make it almost impossible for young men to find someone for life.

The movie “Hello...” is about a young man who suffers from depression and has problems with dating. After a frustrating phone survey, he calls an old friend and tries to change something about his state of mind. His only problem is that he will never say what he really feels or what he wants.

The film was made in exactly three weeks in China as part of a first-time exchange between the HFF Munich and the Shanghai Theatre Academy.
