Heidi Ann is not a girl, she is a fire. She grew up treading the boards of as many Adelaide theatres as she could and then never really grew up, so she followed Peter Pan to London, where she continued treading some more Shakespearian style boards. Upon returning to Australia, she was selected for RMIT university creative writing degree, which she completed with high distinctions and honours. She attended Film School at SAE Quantum in Queensland in 2021. She won Best Female Director at Rome International Film Festival, MAY 2024 and her film Medea Instinct also won best short film at Toronto Indie Filmmakers Festival.

Her first short film, an urban gothic thriller, Medea Instinct 2020 which she wrote, produced and directed was created with an intentionally female lead cast and crew. Medea Instinct premiered at the "Melbourne Woman Film Festival" and was shown and archived at the "Australian Cinema of Moving Image". It was also featured in the Los Angeles based festival called FlickFair for the month of February 2022.

“Medea Instinct” has recently won a place as an official selection in the Tokyo International Film Festival 2024, New York Tri State Film Festival 2024,Munich New Wave Festival 2024 and Madrid International Short Film Festival 2024.

Heidi Ann's Film Company, The Green Woman, are on a heroine's quest of the Protagonist"A" variety, its characters, cast and crew open film portals to our cosmological and spiritual origins . Our quest is to manifest films of the most divine kind. The new Divine Feminine Spirit Fiction film inspires the highest soul intentions and creations in all who make and see them.

The topic most on people's minds in 2024 and beyond, is the question of our cosmological, human and spiritual origins. Heidi Ann's debut feature film MS ATLANTIS is a Spiritual/SciFi about a female recording artist whose encounter with her double, a Siren from the sea at a beachside hotel, dredges up forgotten ancient history, one that is connected to a blue stone which acts as a portal to a hidden world that operates out of material time space laws.
