Heaven can wait

In 2016, Li Jie's 16-year-old daughter was raped and murdered by her classmates in Beijing New Oriental School. In February 2018, the murderer sentenced to life imprisonment filed an appeal. She came to Beijing to find justice for her daughter. However, it was found that her daughter's relics were lost at school, and the school refused her access. She hated the murderer so much She could not forgive herself or forget her daughter.

Director Statement

文珹灏。1998年出生于北京。大四学生。从大一开始受班主任启发喜欢纪录片。长片处女作《在人间》是在偶然中坚持和摸索而成的作品。

黄京昆。大四学生，热爱影像，《在人间》是第一部纪录片的尝试。在这次过程中，体会到了许多以前从来没有过也没有想象过的人生甘苦辛辣。作为学生，我很感谢所有一起经历和帮助过我们的人。

Wen Chenghao. Born in Beijing in 1998. Senior. From the beginning of freshman, I was inspired by the head teacher to like documentary. The first long film "heaven can wait" is a work of persistence and exploration by chance.

Huang Jingkun. As a senior student, he loves motion pictures and " heaven can wait " is the first attempt of documentary. In this process, I realized many ups and downs of life that I had never imagined before. As a student, I thank all the people who have experienced and helped us together.
