Heather Thomas Van Deren has loved music & acting since she was a little girl. She took her first piano lesson at 7 yrs of age. From music recitals to singing or playing in talent shows, Heather loved, loved, loved all things music! It wasn’t until she was a young mother that she stepped out in faith to sing for the Lord. Heather was with the popular ladies’ trio “Hearts to Him” for 10 years, and with the group “Rejoice” for 8 years prior. Her first solo project, was released in 2009. Since then, Heather has released 4 additional albums, including her Christmas CD and the “Just in Time” CD, which was awarded Album of the Year by the Texoma Gospel Music Assn. Her lastest project, “Movin’ On” has given her a No. 1 & No. 3 song on the National Christian Country Music charts.
Heather has been issued numerous awards such as:
*2021 Internat'l Country Gospel Music Assn. Gold Cross Female Artist of the Yr.
*2021 ICGMA "Music Video of the Year" of her song "My God Made That"
*2020 ICGMA Female Vocalist of the Year
* Numerous nominations and several other awards through various Christian Country
organizations
Heather also has an award-nominated program called “What Love Means” – a series of testimony interviews of people like you! It is currently carried on 11 national and intercontinental radio stations, and 5 U.S. TV stations.
Heather ministers at many cowboy churches, among others, and travels throughout the year. She and her husband live on a farm in Millsap, TX where they raise registered Black Angus show cattle.
