Heather O'Rourke: She Was Here was a project that took several years to complete and is very personal for me. The passing of Heather on February 1, 1988 was the first person I "knew" who died. I had been a fan of Heather's for her appearances on Happy Days, The New Leave It To Beaver along with the Poltergeist movie trilogy. It broke my heart in 2017 to find out an online gossip website was writing rumors about Heather dying due to sexual abuse. I felt in my soul this couldn't be true and I set out on a journey to find out the truth, to tell Heather's story, and set the record straight once and for all. What makes this film unique and special is that it was completed mostly by just me with some assistance of two crew members. This film is proof that if your passion is big enough, you can accomplish anything.
