I’m an asexual non-binary autistic Vietnamese-American writer (they/she) who creates visceral stories that center queer and trans characters and artists of Color on the asexual spectrum, telling stories from our lived experiences more vibrantly and powerfully than folks looking from the outside in on our communities ever could.
My award-winning films are screening at queer and Asian-American film festivals, such as CAAMFest and Outfest LA, where femmes of Color all across the LGBTQIA+ spectrum have told me that they feel seen and their experiences represented fully for the first time in my stories. I seek to continue making films and series that empower these communities with authentic depictions of our shared experiences. My films are streaming at the OutMuseum Ace of Hearts Exhibit, Film Shortage, and Retrospective of Jupiter.
In collaboration with fellow neurodivergent queer and trans filmmakers of Color, I’m building my multiverse of unapologetically queer stories with captivating platonic relationships. Currently, I’m developing two science fiction drama TV pilots that center queer chosen families of Color and autistic femmes grappling with intergenerational trauma, multiple apocalypses, and self-love.
