Director Biography - Saalika Khan

Saalika Khan is a Pakistani born, Maryland raised artist. Hailing from Baltimore, Saalika moved her career to Los Angeles. Having started in acting and photography, she has brought her experience of being both in front of the camera and behind it to directing. She aims to have queer stories and perspectives brought to the front of her mediums.

Director Statement

I wanted to capture the intimacy of this queer women relationship, as well as bringing a dash of fantasy to the story. The theme of the song lent itself to the hellish yet dreamy visuals.
