Hannah's Story
Hannah's Story is a powerful and inspiring documentary that chronicles the extraordinary journey of Hannah Cohen. The film won the most inspirational film at the Cannes, Remember The Future Festival in March 20025.
In 2011 she was diagnosed with a highly aggressive brain tumour. Following an extensive 8 1/2 hour surgery and subsequent radiotherapy, the tumor returned, prompting us to seek a controversial treatment in the United States. Through sheer determination and the support of our community, we managed to raise £250,000, ultimately saving Hannah's life and allowing us to embrace a life of happiness.
However, even as we basked in the joy of Hannah's recovery, we were not immune to the controversy surrounding the treatment and the skeptics who sought to discredit our journey. The documentary delves into the challenges we faced, both in terms of the medical decisions we made and the resilience required to navigate the doubts and criticisms from others.
Tragically, in 2022, Hannah's tumor resurfaced, and she was given a devastating prognosis of six months to live. Undeterred, we embarked on a search for a new treatment in Germany, one that held incredible promise and revitalized Hannah's health, with the cancer miraculously disappearing. However, fate dealt us a cruel blow when Hannah contracted Covid-19 in 2023, leading to her untimely passing on May 19, 2023.
Through "Hannah's Story," viewers will witness the incredible resilience and determination of an individual who defied the odds not once, but twice. This documentary serves as a testament to the power of hope, love, and the indomitable spirit that can emerge even in the face of unimaginable challenges.

We are all in the story making business and have a story to tell.
The story I'm telling in this documentary was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do but what people will see is what true love really is how there are alternative treatments for cancer out the and where you are in life isn't who you are. We have the ability to rise up and take action.
