Born in Red Bank, New Jersey and raised in Matawan, New Jersey, then currently resides in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Curry started filmmaking in 2012 and was a member of the Telecommunications club at Matawan Regional High School. She became a finalist at the 2014 Brookdale Community College Film Festival after screening her film "The Paper". Her short film "BLM" was screened at the 2020 Bright Ideas Film Festival, 2020 Lift-Off Global Network: First-Time Filmmaker Festival. Other notable short films she has directed/written were ”The Test, Class of 2016-Six Word Memoir, AB Ghost Stories, Matther 8:13, and Miss Blue Moon”. Curry received a dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from Alderson Broaddus University majoring in Mass Communications and Public Relations with minors in journalism and international studies. She is currently earning her Master of Fine Arts in Film and Digital Technology at Chatham University.
