Experiencing Interruptions?

HISIN 15

Happiness and Pain, despite its antagonic nature, find a simultaneous coexistence in the human emotional framework, whose idiosyncrasy will serve as inspiration for the development of the creative process of this work.
Hisin 15 is presented as a video dance short-film which is part of the initiative Un Momento Antes. It’s framed inside the parting conflict, mixed feelings between a new path of enthusiasm and the duel of leaving behind everything that has represented rootedness for us. An audiovisual experience full of symbolism that goes through the course of emotions from the initial starting uncertainty to the moment of the final decision accompanied by a unique piece of music composed of various ‘palos del flamenco’ that give life to the melting pot of feelings experienced by the main character.
She will struggle to the rhythm of ‘polo and caña’ in her first doubt and uncertainty moments, concluding with the compass of bulería solemnity which indicates the hard and definitive decision-making.
An ode to Love, an independent love impregnated with freedom without ties, which will always last despite the uncertain future of following a path that will separate us from it.
The energy of what we have lived together will remain forever.

Un Momento Antes is an artistic initiative composed of different projects that revolves around a common subject matter: the moments prior to a decisive situation that impacts our lives in brief time lapses.
With this number of projects, it is intended to give visibility to the intense, at the same time as everlasting emotions that overwhelm us before the decisive moment arrives.

Given the difficulty of conveying in words the emotional complexity arising from these situations, dance is used as the principal language.
The flamenco-contemporary fusion allows the expression of ideas and emotions more inherent to the traditional dance under the prism of contemporary abstraction, which greatly increases the audience’s conceptualization, facilitating their interpretation in a field they consider more individual.
