Director Statement

In this film, I wanted to explore the harsh limitations imposed by third-world societies—especially where religious rigidity and conservative values shape everyday life. While in more progressive countries, children at a certain age begin to learn about sexuality through open discussion and education, in many traditionalist communities, these topics are strictly taboo.

Even innocent interactions—like boys and girls playing together or simply being under the same roof—are considered sinful. This culture of silence and repression leads not to purity, but to confusion, shame, and ultimately, the emergence of misguided behaviors and desires.

Through this story, I aim to shed light on how these social taboos not only hinder natural development but also cultivate deeper psychological and emotional struggles. My intention is not to provoke, but to start a conversation that many societies still avoid.
