HEY, IT'S MOM

Logline: Mother Nature leaves a voicemail. Her children have not picked up the phone in years. When will they answer or will the line go dead?

I decided to challenge myself to write a script, shoot and edit it despite the limitations of COVID-19, which forced me to think smaller but it actually provided me with a useful enabling constraint so that I could create something that was deeply personal (a voicemail from a mother to her daughter) but ended up touching on broader environmental concerns for our planet. This piece developed serendipitously and was conceived from a dream.
