Guava
Guava lives in a space that has turned everything white and bland. She's kept a stock of her childhood favorite fruit which is running low. Despite her multiple attempts to reproduce it, she has been unable to harvest one with its distinctive inner color and flavor. Desperate of her failed attempts, she will sacrifice her most precious treasure to reconnect with her place of origin and sense of belonging one last time.

Guava is the second installment of a longer project from Puerto Rican composer Angélica Negrón, a process-based cinematic drag opera that will experiment and collaborate with different drag artists and directors. I'm currently designing and consulting the development of the bigger picture alongside Angélica. You should really check her out. I love her work and am very excited for this ongoing collaboration.
