Grounded In Your Light
Grounded in Your Light follows artist Lacey Longino as she undertakes the creation of a large scale public mural inside a residential community. What begins as a blank expanse of concrete becomes a study in color, light, and identity as Lacey brings her vision to life with the help of her father and the team around her. The film captures quiet moments of collaboration, problem solving, and discovery, revealing how much emotion and intention sit behind work that many viewers may only encounter in passing.
Through still and thoughtful imagery, the documentary shows how art can reshape the character of a place and deepen the connection between the people who build it. Grounded in Your Light is a portrait of creativity, community, and the enduring impact of art on the spaces we call home.

Brandon Andersen is a filmmaker and the founder of WLVES Digital Cinema, a production company known for authentic branded storytelling and high end cinematic work. He began filming as a kid, later shaping his craft through the rollerblading world where he spent years skating on weekends and editing on weekdays.
His first major documentary, Lui Na Greine which translates to Window of a Sunset, earned multiple festival awards including Best Local Documentary at Atlanta Docufest. Brandon’s ongoing YouTube project, Signature Series, blends his lifelong passion for rollerblading with cinematic storytelling and has become a respected voice in the sport.
His recent film, Grounded in Your Light, explores the creation of a large scale public mural and the way art shapes community and place. Across all of his work Brandon focuses on authenticity, human connection, and craft. He continues to refine his voice and push his creative boundaries with every project.
Grounded in Your Light is a film about the way art can shape a space and the people who move through it. From the first time I stepped into the unfinished Upton, I knew this story was not just about a mural. It was about the emotion, intention, and community behind its creation.
I approached the documentary with stillness and restraint, letting genuine moments lead the way. Lacey, her father, and the artists around her revealed a process filled with care and quiet transformation.
My hope is that viewers feel how art does more than brighten a wall. It changes the character of a place and the people who build it.
