Granny Gumshoe
Granny takes her business of baking and detective work very seriously in this film noir style thriller/comedy. You better not get on her bad side, because you can bet her oven's preheated to "tough cookie" degrees.

With a lifelong love for writing and movies, I naturally chose to major in film at Southeastern University in central Florida. As a kid, I appeared in a couple of commercials and was in an acting troupe which satisfied my imagination and creativity. Quickly, my interests became more focused on the happenings behind the cameras than in front of them. In March of 2023 I made my Directorial debut as a sophomore at SEU with my short film Teddy.
Everything about Granny Gumshoe is so fitting to its film noir storyline, imagery, and set. I managed to rent a beautiful old historic home in Lakeland to film in. As luck would have it, filming took place a day before one of Tampa bay areas worst hurricanes hit. As it rained like crazy outside, my small crew of six worked in just under 7 hours to complete my story of a little grandma detective with a big attitude. With a love for film noir classics like Strangers on a Train and China Town I wanted to recreate a "who done it" but with a comedic twist. The goal was to entertain an audience with something that looks and feels classic and a little gritty in an unidentifiable time period.
