Caitlyn McConnell is a writer-director-producer and an award-winning filmmaker with works featured in festivals such as WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival and the International Motor Film Awards. She is 20 years old and a senior at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in New York City. She currently works as a Set Production Assistant on Law & Order: SVU and worked on Season 2 of Peacock's Poker Face. She is originally from Houston, Texas.
In a time where print newspapers and the written word are slowly disappearing, Gramercy captures the importance of personal stories and mentorship as a young writer and foreign student, Quentin, finds community with New York historian and writer, Roland, and his writer tribe for The Gramercy Gazette. These connections show the power of story, community, and writing to bring people from diverse backgrounds and experiences together.
