Manuel Zopiyaxtle is a Mexican actor and filmmaker based in New York City.
A passionate for the performing arts he started his career acting in Mexico when he was 13. After a few years he moved to New York in pursuit of his dream, to tell stories through theatre and film.
Gothic Girls Are Right is a film that came from my gut. Comedies are some of my favorite movies, and to be able to play with the genre as a writer, director, and actor was something that I could not even dream of.
This is an important film because it is not afraid of being bold and different. And, in a world where we are taught to follow certain rules, the story of Gothic Girls Are Right doesn't care about them.
