1993 born in Kassel,
raised in Erfurt, where she went to a sport boarding school.
After living for half an year in Cuba, she studied psychology in Freiburg and cancelled the studies finally 2014 to become a filmmaker.
2015 she started the studies of direction documentary at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
There she realized two short documentaries about the German prison system.
Recently she dedicated herself to the fiction storytelling and is now working on a shortfilm which will be screened on ARTE in summer.
Based on my personal conflict with my father, who wanted me to become an 800m runner who participates at the Olympic Games, I wanted to tell a story about a young girl, which escapes the expectations of his father in young age.
My dream was always to become a dancer, because the power and strength of dance makes you capable to set free.
Our main character Céline gives his father the opportunity to watch her dancing, so that he can finally make a step towards her and start accepting her own dreams.
Anais Mauri the main actress inspiried me when I saw her the first time dancing at a Krump battle in Paris. I decided to transmit my personal story to the world of beauty photography and Krump dancing. Two worlds where expression counts, just in a slightly different way...
