Upon losing her scholarship, Jade understands that there is only one place where she can ask for help: the Golden Circle, a secret gambling scheme headed by her classmate, Via.

Jade’s experience in the Golden Circle is more than beginner’s luck—she has won so much, yet she soon realizes that there are bigger things beyond a secret gambling scheme: she must face an elaborate system which oppresses everyone in need—people who are just like her.
