GODHOOD (Feature Screenplay)

Godhood is an animated sci-fi & dark-fantasy epic about Raiko, an exiled, wooden-skinned God seeking acceptance and purpose. He teams up with Higgs, a skeptical scientist, to uncover his origins and confront a menacing resurgence that threatens the delicate balance between Gods and mankind, in which secrecy and fear conceal the absolute truth.

Writer Biography - Walter Maduro

Hi there! I’m Walter Maduro, a Panamanian hotel entrepreneur best known for founding and operating NITRO CITY Action Sports Resort for 8 years, a unique collaboration with Nitro Circus and Travis Pastrana. When the resort was forced to close during the global lockdown, I seized the unexpected pause to pursue a long-held creative vision, the development of my original anime saga, GODHOOD.

In this journey, Mr. Junichi Kawamura, former Head of R&D at Bandai Namco and a key creative behind major franchises such as Tekken and Soul Calibur, decided to be my mentor in Japan’s media arts industry, guiding the production network.
