God Is Coming

A pioneering epic centered on God, spanning both the divine realm and Earth, where His destiny becomes inseparably bound to humanity’s fate.

At the heart of the story is John, a being who descends from the divine realm to Earth. Through memories, meditation, and moments of revelation, he gradually uncovers his true identity and the ultimate purpose of his existence. Before returning to the divine realm, John uses his supernatural abilities to aid those in need while actively acquiring human knowledge. Shaped by his earthly experiences, he ultimately makes a decision that defines the future of humanity. Throughout the narrative, audiences are immersed in an atmosphere of mystery and tension that continually propels the story forward. Even the title not only reveals the protagonist but also subtly hints at the extraordinary journey ahead.

The film’s central theme explores the relationship between the divine and humanity, offering a compelling vision of humankind’s future. The nuanced portrayal of John’s relationships—with both his mother and his human lover—highlights his deep emotions and spiritual connection to mankind, embodying love and selflessness at the core of human nature. His romance with the young woman is imbued with poetry and wonder, capturing the beauty of pure and innocent love. Their relationship forms the emotional center of the film, unfolding with mythic resonance—tender, moving, at times infused with humor, yet touched by sorrow. Ultimately, after monumental changes shake both Earth and humanity, they find their way back to each other, their true love becoming eternal. The film’s layered structure and interwoven chapters create powerful narrative echoes, with each thread enriching and amplifying the others.

The story also features distinctive portrayals of Jesus and the Garden of Eden, along with epic depictions of the “Third World War,” “Armageddon,” and the rebellion of the angels—sequences both visually spectacular and thematically profound.

One of the work’s most striking features is its vivid and immersive depiction of the divine realm. It not only addresses the ultimate question—“Who created God?”—from both scientific and philosophical perspectives, but also delves into the daily lives and histories of this enigmatic world. Through John’s journey of self-discovery, the film intricately explores the dynamic relationships between God, the divine realm, and humanity. By portraying God as a multifaceted and ever-evolving figure, the story lends rare depth to its spiritual themes. This is a groundbreaking cinematic endeavor, aiming to present the perfection of God’s image through the power of narrative.

Meticulously crafted to uplift and inspire, the film unfolds as a sweeping narrative that explores a broad range of themes. Every element is carefully designed to emphasize enduring values—love, faith, justice, compassion, kindness, selflessness, wisdom, nobility, and friendship. As the story progresses, its depth and complexity grow ever more captivating. Despite its large ensemble of characters, each one is brought vividly to life, marked by distinctive personalities and intricately developed inner worlds.

Through its masterful blend of suspense, foreshadowing, and profound insight, God Is Coming offers a powerful and enlightening experience—an exceptional fusion of scope, substance, and imagination. It is a work in which every viewer will find something to reflect upon, something to marvel at, and something to carry with them long after the final scene fades.

Writer Statement

The epic fantasy screenplay “God Is Coming” originates from my lifelong inquiry into questions of faith, philosophy, and the human condition. Informed by years of study of the Bible and Buddhist scriptures, the narrative unites the divine and the earthly, interweaving themes of love, duty, and destiny. Incorporating elements of fantasy (fantasy realism), romance, religion, history, war, and science fiction, the work is crafted to engage audiences worldwide on both intellectual and emotional levels across cultures.

From its inception, "God Is Coming" was conceived as a commercially viable project. With its innovative storyline, emotionally resonant themes, and sweeping cinematic scope, the film holds strong potential for significant commercial success.

It is not intended to promote any particular religion, but rather to present an intimate yet universal story—one that reminds us that life itself is our most precious gift, and that a good life requires both God’s blessing and one’s own effort. Spanning a wide range of themes, the work offers a distinctive and nuanced perspective on religion. With epic scope, its dialogues and storyline are designed to be unforgettable—offering an experience unlike anything audiences have seen before—while also delving into how some of the wisest beings confront the profound complexities of existence.

From its title, one might infer a strong connection to the Bible. While the film’s design and structure draw inspiration from certain biblical elements, I have refined and reimagined these aspects to present audiences with content that feels fresh and compelling, rather than familiar. At its core, "God Is Coming" is a multilayered epic of fantasy realism, designed to captivate viewers of all ages and cultural backgrounds.

As a major theme, "God Is Coming" requires ample length, depth of thought, and multi-layered storytelling for its vision to be fully realized and to meet audience expectations. Though expansive in scope, the narrative remains tightly woven, fast-paced, and rich with dramatic tension. I am confident it will provide an unforgettable experience.

The story unfolds gradually, heightened by the skillful integration of suspense that evokes both uncertainty and anticipation. Early chapters also employ foreshadowing to hint at future twists. In many ways, the narrative grows increasingly compelling as it progresses. The film offers not only a profound exploration of ideas but also an inspiring experience, one from which audiences may discover revelations or insights that speak to their present or future lives.

Certain passages may carry a slightly didactic tone—perhaps reflecting my desire to share as much of my thinking as possible with viewers. Moreover, I believe a title of this nature should be accompanied by truly profound ideas. If the narrative challenges your beliefs or views, I encourage viewers to approach it with an open heart and mind. I hold deep respect for all nations referenced in the story, and I ask for your understanding regarding any depictions that might appear less than favorable.
