Glenrowan
The feared and outlawed Kelly Gang arrives in the sleepy town of Glenrowan on the night of June 26th, 1880. Their goal: to derail a train of policemen and start a revolution. Rounding up the townsfolk into the local hotel, they patiently await the train’s arrival. But when an informant foils their plan, the full weight of the police force descends upon the town resulting in a bloody conflict that lasts over 12 hours. The ordeal becomes a harrowing nightmare as the trapped Kelly Gang holds out in the hotel with many civilians are caught in the crossfire. The siege culminates in a final standoff between Ned Kelly and over fifty policemen that will forever cement his status as a legend.

Writer/Director MATTHEW HOLMES' professional career began after high school working for Adelaide’s leading animation company Anifex Pty Ltd as a stop-motion animator, sculptor, model-maker and storyboard artist. Here, Matthew worked on numerous award-winning short films and major TV commercials over a ten year period. In 2007, Matthew released his self-funded feature debut 'Twin Rivers', a Depression-era Australian drama. After seven years of historical research and writing, Matthew launched production on his second feature film 'The Legend of Ben Hall' in 2014, an epic dramatization of the notorious New South Wales bushranger.
Co-writer AIDAN PHELAN studied literature, drama and media at ACU and has a life-long passion for the Ned Kelly story, starting as a child after reading about The Last Outlaw television series. His eagerness for the history saw him published in a newspaper editorial at age thirteen. Aidan's detailed knowledge of the Ned Kelly story, plus his passion for film stories has helped craft the screenplay for Glenrowan into the most accurate Ned Kelly film production to date. He is also the creator, author and administrator of the website A Guide to Australian Bushranging. Aidan has spent years researching and collecting stories about the colorful characters of Australian bushranging history with particular emphasis on Ned Kelly, Captain Moonlite , nd Daniel Morgan. Aidan is now writing several books on the topic.
