Born 1981 in a small semi-rural West Australian town. I quickly realised I had a love for story telling. With an overactive imagination and love for retelling events, it wasn't long before I was making my own stories. I still remember my first movie that made me question what was "real" and "how did they do that?"
It wasn't until finishing high school and graduating that I found my interest for film making. I completed a double degree in Film and Video and Photography in Perth Western Australia in 2002 with an aspiration of being a cinematographer.
After a few years of following the photography and media path, mixed with multiple roles in small indie films advertising campaigns, videoclips and promotional companies, I moved into a job that combined both film and education.
However, being a teacher in the media field allowed me the opportunity to refine my film making skills. Having the ability to work, share knowledge and enthusiasm for the art form it was only time before I began creating my own projects.
With a love and passion for exploring the Australian outback I embarked on finding unique stories and characters of this great country.
