Glaistig
A young woman is plagued with recurring visions of a demon-like creature that she believes she actually saw during a night in the woods with her boyfriend and their roommate.
Her attempts to get the guys to take her seriously are dismissed as false memories from a drunken night.
While driving to the backcountry, they encountered a ranger who cryptically warned them about strange sounds in the forest and the dangers of trespassing on a private stretch of land called the Devil’s Backbone.
As the days pass, the visions grow stronger and the Creature’s form becomes more clear, until one night it appears outside her window. She again tries to warn her friends, armed with knowledge that the threat is real. However, when the Creature gets inside, it’s already too late.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Cody earned a degree in Visual Communications, where he specialized in photography, editing, computer animation, and film production. After relocating to Los Angeles to gain further experience on film sets, he started directing spec projects and shorts. He directed the horror ‘Crucero’ and the dark comedy ‘Conversations With Lucifer’, as well as comedian Mike Marino's "Make America Italian Again" web series, all of them went on to win multiple awards in the festival circuit. Recently he directed a series of award-winning shorts for the Horror Movie Awards and 15 Second Horror Film Fest.
Noticing that the field of slasher/horror was sorely lacking in female killers, our goal with Glaistig was to devise a unique, female “villain” that wasn’t just a doll or tormented spirit, but a wholly unique character with her own lore and backstory, which became our Green Woman, who was designed and created by an all-female special makeup effects team. We then set out to craft a film that combined our love of 80’s slashers and creature features with the sensibilities of folk horror, brought to life by a nearly all-female crew, an amazing cast, and following the advice given to a young Sam Raimi: “no matter what you do, keep the blood running down the screen”.
