Ever since he was a child, Dylan Kimmell had a love for storytelling and enjoyed coming up with ideas. Film seemed to be the perfect career choice to make those stories come to life.
He would encourage his cousins to partake in his stories, telling them what character they are, and where the story was going. This level of creativity only sparked further when he watched the creative process of filmmaking through special features on DVDs and he would write and fantasize endlessly of other worlds.
As the years went on, he found like-minded creators and with them embarked on further stories through the craft of filmmaking.
Having been introduced to Stephen King’s dollar baby years prior, a group of local filmmakers and actors agreed to partake in a project that I told them would be non-distributable, given the contract set forth by Stephen King himself. This is more so a pitch of what we here at Erroneous Deeds, an indie film company started by Keith Cox (Guy Monette) and I, showcasing what we are capable of with just a modest low budget.
This film l am very proud of. It is the one I have worked the hardest on. Putting so much of my own money into it and slaving over an argumentative computer that could not handle the work load, but having no money to upgrade it.
The question remains if this will be a dollar baby that Stephen King would be proud of. I think the answer is yes.
