A businessman arrives in central London for a meeting, only to discover it is deserted and lifeless. Panicking, he flees to Brighton to meet his girlfriend on the beach. Shot in lockdown London and inspired by 28 Days Later, this is a quarantine short based on the fear of discovering you're the last human on Earth...until you suddenly realise things are even worse than that.

Quarter-Finalist
London-based horror writer and producer Nina Romain has over 10 years’ experience in features and shorts. She's written and produced 10 horror shorts in locations as varied as Brighton underpasses, haunted forests, and off the beaten track in Los Angeles. These have been selected by a total of 50 international film fests, including Upstate NY Horror Film Festival, the Hollywood Horror Film Festival, and Hollywood Screenings Film Festival.
She regularly screens at the UK's largest independent horror festival, Horror-on-Sea. Her feature work includes last year's FrightFest UK horror-comedy “Are We Dead Yet?” and Raindance-screened "Love Possibly". For more info, please visit: www.girlfright.com
Nina Romain is living proof that small children shouldn't be taken trick-or-treating in Alabama in the 1980s – they tend to end up obsessed with the creepier side of Halloween! Her horror shorts tend to be shot half in the seedier side of Los Angeles and half in the darker side of the UK.
