Genius Mutta

Talent is an inherent quality of human being. A teenage boy Mutta and his talent in medicines. How it is nurtured by mentors and society is the story.

Mutta, a boy belonging to Soliga community along with his mother Neelamma, hailing from Biligiri Ranga Hills takes shelter under Dr. Seetha Lakshmi who runs Girijana Kalyana Kendra. Mutta’s mother, Neelamma was diagnosed with a disease called Shone complex. Dr Seetha Lakshmi writes a letter to her son Dr Adarsh for Neelamma’s further treatment and hands it over to Mutta along with some cash.

Mutta loses the letter and cash while he was travelling to Bangalore in a bus along with his mother. Dr Adarsh returns to India and goes to hospital. He learns about Mutta and Neela from Dr Sakshi and finds them later he operates Neela and he helps Mutta for his further education in medicine.

Genius Mutta, Director Nagini Bharana (Debut Film)
Naginibharana is a unique media person who with multiple-facets. Her enchanting journey has encompassed formidable forays into dance, music, theatre, film & television wearing the multiple hats of a dancer, singer, actor, costume designer, director, choreographer & producer. She is among the handful of South-Indian film-makers who made films which bagged National & State awards for children film ‘Chinnari Mutha’ & ‘Kamsale kaisale’ & ‘Stoneboy. Being a ‘Barathanatya’ dancer she learnt ‘Kuchupudi’ & her ‘Arangetram’ in Kuchupudi was the first of its kind in Karnataka. She is in the legendary B.V Karanth’s ‘Benaka’ Troop from past 42 years.
