Director Lily Priscott grew up in Oxfordshire, UK and moved to Bristol in 2020 to pursue her academic career at the University of Bristol. Here, she studied English Literature, gaining deep insights into storytelling and what captures an audience. In her final year of university (aged 20), she directed her first independent documentary, 'Generation Palestine' alongside her Literature studies. Since graduating from university, Lily is working as a content creator but has many more ideas for her next films and is currently working on progressing those ideas further into more productions.
Growing up with a Palestinian Grandmother and many Palestinian friends, I have always had a deep love for their beautiful culture. My passion is to document the most incredibly authentic stories of resilience and strength, and to offer Palestinians the opportunity to express their true emotions towards their homeland and heritage. In doing so, I hope to educate others on the beauty, gentleness, warmth and community that is the Palestinian culture.
