Director Biography - Debra Markowitz

Debra Markowitz is a multi-award winning writer/director who also created the Nassau County, NY, Film Commission, as well as being one of the co-founders of LIIFE, the Long Island International Film Expo going on 24 years in July 2021. She also writes, directs and casts for others besides working on her own film projects. She is the author of the Karmic Wind Trilogy (Naked in the Rain, Sarah and Caleb and Karmic Wind), and is a Reiki practitioner.

Director Statement

This little film is exciting for me because it was my business partner/husband's idea, which I wrote and directed (he came up with the idea and shot it). It's a short little horror ditty about those who emotionally abuse...and...karma.
