Gazi is Arriving

After the establishment of the Republic of Turkey, many reforms have taken place in our country, there have been a number of changes from the way of life and cultural aspects. Perhaps the most important of these reforms is the "Alphabet Reform". Before carrying out the reforms, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk made certain preparations and awareness raising activities for the public. He also organized trips for the "Alphabet Reform"; He gave one-to-one lessons in places such as "Çanakkale, Sinop, Kayseri". His lesson in Sinop is counted as "the first lesson he taught in Anatolia". This lesson, which he gave one and a half months before the Alphabet Reform, on September 15, 1928, is also important in the history of the country, but is very important for Sinop local history. This date - although it is actually the second time - is the date when Atatürk came to Sinop for the first time.
