Director Statement

I’ve always been drawn to thrillers and horror movies because I love figuring out a mystery. Who did it? What’s happening? I like that these genres lend themselves to a weirder more experimental space. With "Game Over", I wanted to be able to live in a different world than we know, but feel grounded - not disconnected. The film had to keep the audience’s attention but keep them guessing until the very end. The script lent itself to a real immersive and experiential creation and I’m lucky to have been given such quality material to play with. Collaborating on this film with this amazing group of women, was one of my best experiences to date. I asked a lot of the cast and crew, and they delivered with flying colors. Their hard work and talent is evident every time I watch this film and I hope audiences agree (while they cover their eyes)!
