Gag Women: the story of Korean comediennes
Narae is a veteran comedian with an established career spanning 15 years. in her early years as a comedian, she was only given minor roles while men took all the prized roles and just branded as “unlikeable” at her attempt at slapstick comedy. She was fortunate to have ones like Jimin & Nami to rely on, as fellow comediennes and also Sungmi to look up to for advice, the one of the first female comedians to debut earlier. This is the story of Narae who finally became the Granprix winner of Entertainment Awards in 2019.
