After a two-year hiatus, Bryson Goner gets pushed back into the spotlight when his manager arranges an unannounced interview meant to reignite his career. What begins as a calculated PR move turns into a tense power struggle between perception and truth, forcing Bryson to confront the cost of fame and the fear of fading away. Set within the boundaries of his home, Goner reveals how chasing after greatness can cost.

Director Biography - BJ Pepukayi

BJ Pepukayi is an actor, writer, producer, & director from Middletown, Delaware. In 2019, following his freshman year at Morehouse College, BJ was selected for the inaugural Amazing Stories Foundation film & TV apprenticeship program, created by Rob Hardy and Nina Packer. Since graduating from Morehouse College in theater & performance (2022), BJ has focused primarily on pursuing his passion in acting, booking roles on various TVOne true-crime series and starring in a live-recorded sitcom pilot at Synchronicity Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia (2024). Goner is BJ’s first publicly released indie short film, a project that allowed him to embrace a new creative challenge, while his passion for acting brought the story fully to life. Grateful for every opportunity, BJ approaches his work with humility, dedication, and a relentless drive to grow, collaborate, and contribute.
