GENERATION FUERZA
GENERATION FUERZA is a short documentary about the devastating earthquake that rocked Mexico City in September 2017. Within days of the quake striking, my co-director and I were informed by some sources on the ground (some friends that were affected) that in the absence of an organized response, hundreds of citizens were taking matters into their own hands to ensure the safety of their friends and neighbors. As our sources collected footage, we booked our flights and headed to Mexico city with the intention of capturing this on film. Soon after the tragic event, we embedded with several people and organizations, documenting their fight to bring Mexico City back to its feet. GENERATION FUERZA tells their stories, and speaks to the next generation of Mexicans, changing the country permanently, through their unity and innovation.

Clark and Alex, both native New Yorkers, met at 7 years old (turning 8) at summer sleep away camp in upstate NY. For the next 7 years, they returned every summer to reunite as a bunk and keep their legacy alive. Since then, the two have remained best friends, with each forming careers in respective areas of film and the arts - documentary and branded story-telling (Clark), and reality TV development and producing (Alex). They both still live in NYC and continue to collaborate under the name "Lame Deer Films."
