GAIA
GAIA is a video project, a sort of documentary or film that, starting from the fundamental themes of clothing, costume, and gender, explores the choices made in personal storytelling within contemporary (actual!) society. The process employed is that of a "dramaturgy of abandonment": the performers are asked to share an anecdote with the aim of presenting an intimate, personal snapshot, capturing the subjects in a simple, everyday gesture like getting dressed, and, in doing so, narrating a piece of their life. From the inside to the outside, from the personal to the public, all within the common thread of costume.

Enzo Riccio (Naples, 1999) after a degree in Theatre History moved to Venice where he’s attending a master’s degree in Theatre and Choreographic Studies (IUAV). Here he experiences the methods of companies and artists such as El Conde de Torrefiel, Virgilio Sieni, C&C Company. He is interested in the possibilities of voice, speech, technological tools. From cassandra (2024) was born archivio di-stratto, a collective focused on the research of performative practices.
