An independent filmmaker and assistant film professor, Rachael Camp has garnered recognition for her work at various film festivals. Her short film "Dawn" was an official selection at the 2019 Indie Memphis Film Festival, and "June" screened at the 2019 Nashville Film Festival. Her award-winning short, "Discover," has been showcased at numerous film festivals across the Southeast. The most recent addition to her portfolio (besides Frog-Man V), "Make That Two," achieved further acclaim by winning the Best Short Film award at the Hub City Film Festival.
FROG-MAN V is a coming-of-age comedy about fear. Using quirky humor, it pays homage to kitsch horror and 90s nostalgia while exploring adolescent fears of the unknown. A recurring theme in my work is the exploration of formative childhood experiences and how they continue to influence the way we navigate through the world today.
