Until Further notice Fright-B-Wary has been canceled for 2024. All submissions will be refunded ASAP.

Due to the 2023 work stoppage we have no received enough appropriate film submissions that fit within our scope of programing. We fully support creatives in their effort to secure better compensation and digital protection and look forward to hosting them in future years.

Rules & Terms

All submitted films must have been completed after January 2018.
All entry fees are non-refundable.
The submitter must own all rights to the submitted films.
The festival will not pay any fees or royalties to publicly screen submitted films during the festival.
The festival does not provide transportation or lodging for filmmakers.
Each accepted film receives two festival passes to be used by the filmmaker, screenwriter or lead actors.
All accepted films must be delivered by January 20th or will be disqualified.
Acceptance to Fright-B-Wary Festival is only for the live screening on the day and date of the festival. It does not obligate Qwerkiflix to distribute the media.

    We weren’t able to go to the festival but we were so happy to participate in it. The founder was very generous and communicated very well about the festival. Hopefully we’ll have a chance next year to go.
