Director Biography - Maxie Rockymore

Maxie Rockymore, screenwriter, playwright, director
Maxie is a Minneapolis-based writer, Fresh Cut is her directorial debut. Fresh Cut was the Winner of the 2024 Audience Choice Award/Online for Short Film at the Golden Gate International Film Festival! It has garnered numerous nominations as it makes its way through the film festival circuit.
Maxie’s episodic TV pilot Neptune Rising was the winner for Outstanding Thriller Series at the 2022 Catalyst Content Festival. Maxie’s Neptune Rising TV pilot was a Quarterfinalist for the 2021 Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope Screenplay competition.
