Experiencing Interruptions?

TOP, BABY!

SYNOPSIS
Mallory, a frustrated advertising rep, competes for a work promotion alongside her privileged male coworker. Stewed with anger over sexism in the workplace, she imagines scenarios where she could kill him.
After Mallory loses the promotion, she accidentally pushes Damien, causing him to hit his head and die. Trapped in the elevator with his body, Mallory’s guilt makes her believe that she has a conversation with Damien.
After a flash of inspiration Mallory manages to hide Damien’'s body in the elevator's roof, and walks away free.

Director Statement

Working at the tip of the advertising industry is exhausting, deceptive, and hollow — and that's just what's visible. I can only imagine what lies beneath.
This film doesn't pretend to change how the world works. But showing even a small fragment of those dynamics feels necessary. Exaggeration is my tool here — pushed just far enough to make the absurdity land, and the criticism sting.
