FredHeads The Documentary

*This is a compressed screener because FilmFreeway will only show it in 720p. The real film is in full HD 1080p (pre4k quality).

Join a close group of friends on the "Nightmare" dream tour of a lifetime as they travel across the United States to meet other fans of A Nightmare on Elm Street.

FredHeads was the first horror documentary to open online submissions world wide for fans to tell their stories. We simply asked,

"What does this franchise mean to you?"

What we learned from these personal diaries is that we all share a common thread, a common bond, the need for Survival.

"Fear gives Freddy his strength, but the fans keep Freddy ALIVE!"

The documentary, produced by Paige Troxell, Kim Gunzinger, Diandra Lazor, and Christal VanEtten puts their FredHead hearts on their sleeves, showing others it's okay to be vulnerable when "facing your Freddy".

Director Biography - Paige Joy Troxell, Kim Gunzinger

Kim and Paige met at a horror convention in 2013 and instantly connected through their love of A Nightmare on Elm Street and all things horror.

In 2016 they worked together on the fan film, Don’t Fall Asleep: The Untold Nancy Thompson Story
(with fellow FredHead Producer Diandra Lazor),
and it was on that set that a partnership was born.

Paige says that Kim was her right arm on the entire shoot. After the successful premiere of their fan film, they decided to become film and producing partners.

February of 2017 they rolled film for the first time on what would be a 4 year journey into a fandom like no other.

Traveling the country and hearing stories from countless fans, filming stars that they both looked up to, and working with what they call “The Dream Team” has been one of the most rewarding experiences for both of them.

Paige and Kim spent over a year and a half locked away editing FredHeads The Documentary and now they are finally ready for the world to see it.
