Brittney Briggs is New Jersey native filmmaker, currently based in Los Angeles California. Brittney works in the industry as a Director, producer and editor. She started her journey attending Montclair State University where she received a BFA in Directing. In 2017 her first short "Making it to Mass" was selected for "New Visions" at the Montclair film festival. Following that in 2019 Brittney's drama "Why We Worry" was selected for the Newark Film festival .
Her dream is to direct various narrative featured films, and is currently working on her body of directorial works to accomplish that.
I directed this film after doing some research on how "Therapist" could either positively or negatively benefit a patient based on their own agenda. I wanted to shed light on the possibility that maybe a medical professional puts their own motives before helping those in need.
