Chris K. Daniels is a filmmaker from Boston, Massachusetts. He's best known for his compelling, stylized storytelling through the use of characters and their twisted worlds.
Chris tends to focus his work on offbeat, conceptual takes on reality. He seeks to bring forth interesting forms of 'what if' questions, and answer those through his stories, in the most exciting ways possible.
Chris has been creating short films for the majority of his life. From the day he made his very first YouTube channel in fourth grade, to the day he landed his first distribution deal in college, he's held onto his passion. Always trying to evolve and become a better version of himself.
In 2017, Chris founded the company iSee Entertainment Core, later renamed Cinemonic. Through that, he's created a central network for himself as a director, as well as a circle of other storytellers from around the country, now involved with the brand.
All-in-all, Chris loves to create. He's a young man passionate about making movies that mean something. He hopes to tell stories for the rest of his life
“For The Good of The People” is truly a culmination of all my love for immersive storytelling. This film is about characters, societal illusions, corruption, trust, family and perspective. Everything in this story is relevant now more than ever. While the world of “For The Good of The People” is a twisted, dystopian take on reality: It’s filled with parallels to today as well as hypothetical situations that would come from the extremism of today’s changing world.
Above all else, I wanted to focus this film on the human element that brings us into this world. The story is all about personal perspective in this extreme, corrupt, ideological world. I wanted to showcase the tragedy that a comes from blind faith, with sympathizable humans in a seemingly unfamiliar world.
This film has taken me over a year and a half to bring to life, and it was worth every second. I’m so incredibly proud of this project, and everyone involved in it. Thank you so much to anyone and everyone that takes the time to experience our story.
