Growing up on the NSW far south coast, Harrison has been surrounded by nature since a young age, spending much of his childhood and teenage years in the bush getting to know the behaviour of reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals.
During his Bachelor studies he teamed up with his now filming partner, Jack Breedon. They made their first documentary film, "Life in the Wet: a frogumatary". Since completing this project his love of film making has evolved into a production company, "Lacelid Productions", which focuses on telling stories of nature and people.
After completing a Bachelor of Science at James Cook University, Harrison has worked as an Ecologist all over Australia.
