Felipe Gallardo is an Ecuadorian director, screenwriter, and producer who has established a distinctive voice in contemporary cinema through a style that blends reality and fiction with a provocative perspective. His short film Hombre de Pecera (2023) earned international recognition, winning first place at the TFCIFF in 2025 and receiving an honorable mention at the Kunturñawi Film Festival in 2024, in addition to multiple official selections.
Gallardo has also directed Greg y Marga (2021) and 3 AM (2024), co-written Muñeca (2022), and produced El Atraco Perfecto (2024), solidifying a diverse and growing career in Ecuadorian independent cinema.
