First Session
A tragicomic story about a depressed girl who decides to commit suicide at home. At the last moment, she is stopped by an annoying doorbell. When she opens it, she sees a courier who has come to see her [Ksenia] by mistake. Ksenia realizes that the stranger has saved her life and realizes the need to finally go to her first psychotherapy session.
Then, together with the protagonist, we get to know the therapist, who says important things. These truths will be highlighted in the denouement.
In the evening, Ksenia meets her friends at a bar and wants to order a drink, but the bartender asks her if she really needs it. In a few seconds, Ksenia realizes that this is the same courier who saved her in the morning. Maybe he doesn't exist in reality? She recalls the words of her therapist: Ksenia has something inside her that stops her from doing harmful things, and protects her. This is how the puzzle is put together.
The ending remains open: we don't know for sure whether Ksenia continued to drink alcohol and harm herself even more, or whether she started going to psychotherapy regularly... However, we are left with the knowledge that each of us has a kind of guardian angel in our lives. This gives us hope.
