Director Statement

I have recently discovered a passion to tell real stories, I believe there are so many untold narratives that need a platform to be appreciated and to evoke change through creating long lasting legacies. Fire Cat is a very emotional film which causes a turbulence of shock and then a resurrection of faith. Fire Cat aims to shed light onto unsung heroes.

Prior to Fire Cat I have directed short narrative films and documentaries, winning the best young filmmakers award at the New Jersey Film Awards and being recognized in many local and international festivals. Fire Cat is a very close film to my heart as I feel I now have a chance to enlighten audiences with stories which are very similar to what many of my family members and their friends dedicate all their free time to.
